As an IT Security Staff, you will be responsible for protecting systems, applications, and networks from security threats. You will conduct security testing, identify vulnerabilities, and support incident response while working closely with technical teams to strengthen the company’s security posture. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about cybersecurity.
Key responsibilities:
Perform security testing activities such as penetration testing, bug hunting, and vulnerability assessment on systems and applications.
Use penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, SQLMap, and other security testing tools to identify potential risks.
Analyze security findings and provide clear recommendations for remediation and improvement.
Support investigation and response to security incidents or urgent security-related issues.
Understand and apply security fundamentals related to networking, internet concepts, and web technologies.
Stay actively updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices through forums, communities, and research.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve system security and awareness.
Prepare basic security documentation and reports.
Be available to support urgent security issues when required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (S1) in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related fields.
Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including OSI Layer concepts.
Good understanding of internet architecture and how web applications work.
Hands-on experience in penetration testing, bug hunting, or bug bounty activities.
Familiar with common penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, SQLMap, or similar tools.
Actively involved in cybersecurity communities or forums is a strong plus.
CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) certification is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and proactive.
Able to work independently and manage tasks under tight deadlines.
Good written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Good attitude, strong teamwork skills, and professional work ethics.
Willing to support urgent or critical security incidents when needed.
